Writing Slumps.
Writing slumps. They're like reading slumps, but really quite different. For writing, you need to really go at your story with a club, but you can and can't really wait for inspiration to hit you. I've never really had a writing slump, but when I'm really writing, I really go at with all I have. So, think of all the things that make you want to write. Think of all the things that inspire you to write and really go at your story with a big club and write your heart out. For a writing slump you could probably read a book and then you might at actually think of something that will trigger something that you could write about. Or you could do some household chore, like doing the dishes or some menial task, that could trigger something for you to write about. Listening to classical music, Chopin, Mozart, Beethoven, etc or any kind of music really could also trigger something that you could write about. Having both reading and writing slumps may suck, but do not let them give you the power to not read or write anymore and everyone is different when it comes to that kind of stuff. So, try different things and see what can trigger you to start reading and writing again. Read quotes about reading, writing and experiences, that may also trigger something in you to actually write and also read again.
