Borrowing Books from the Library and / or Buying them at a Bookstore and having them in your possession.

Borrowing books from the library can be a lot of help for people who do not have a lot of money, but for me, I just buy my books in the bookstore. I just buy my books in the store because I can just have them and read them any time that I want. But when I borrow a book from the library, I have to remember to bring it back after a certain amount of time. I mean, yes, it does save people the time and money to actually have the book for a certain amount of time, but it also depends on how fast or slow that they read each book and how many books that they take out and the certain amount of time that their libraries give them to actually read it. For me, I have been buying books on Amazon and well, I mean, I buy my books from there and also Barnes & Noble, but to be honest, I haven't been to Barnes & Noble in months. Only because I don't drive and I think that if I did go there almost every day, I'd have an even more of a humoungous list of books to read than I already do right now. Borrowing from the library, for me, isn't really an option only because I read slower and I don't want to keep renewing the books that I want to read. And I also don't oppose and I'm also not against people who do go to the library and actually do check books out. But borrowing from the library is never a bad thing, it can help people who are low on money and if you're wanting to get a book but you're hesistant about getting it and like it, you can get it at the library and if you don't like it, you can always return it. If you bought it and you didn't like it, you can always donate it to people who did like it or people who haven't read it and might be interested in reading it.

Buying and also Lending Your Books to Other People.

Buying books. Now, that is something I do almost frequently only because I love to read and the books out there actually have a story to tell. I may buy a lot of books in one outing or in many outings, but I also try and to save my money at the same time, only because there are things out there that I should save my money for other than books.
But I am also saying that buying books isn't also not a bad thing. But there are also times where you just need to just stop buying things and actually save money for when you really need it. It could be for an outing, a present that you want to give to someone for an occasion and yes, that could be a book, but buying books is a different from buying someone the whole entire world. Buying books is a lot cheaper than to buy something else and I mean you could always have hours of entertainment with a book, you do not have to charge it, it will always be there for you when you put it down and also when you pick it back up again.
Buying books may be a lot for some people, considering that they do not have a lot of money and they're trying to save up for bills and things and I totally understand the fact that I still need to save my money as well, but just the joy of buying books make you even more happy having the book physically in your hands? I know just having books in my personal library makes me really happy, even though that I may not read them any time soon, I will read them eventually, not now, but eventually. I understand that if you need to save up money, libraries are a great way to borrow the books that they have and give it back when you're done and you can also save money at the same time.
Libraries are just one of the beauties of reading books, and having a book in your hands for a while. Now, lending your books. Personally, I do NOT, under any circumstances, like lending my books out to other people, because when you give the book to them, they might not even read it. They will take forever reading it, they will damage your book, and also they might not even give it back to you. That's what I really hate about lending my books to other people, because of all of the reasons that I just said, it just makes me soo mad that they do that to my books, even though that I've never had someone return one of my books damaged or anything.
But what I want to know is that why they don't go to the library and borrow a book from there or just buy the book themselves? I mean I really understand it if and when they don't like a book and they've bought it, sometimes,  they can't just give it away. But when they've borrowed from the library, they can just say that they didn't like it and just give it back to the library and NOT BUY IT. Uh, hello? If you're going to be borrowing a book from me, DO NOT DAMGE IT, TAKE FOREVER READING IT OR EVEN TAKE FOREVER IN GIVING IT BACK TO ME. I'M NOT A PUBLIC LIBRARY, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! If you want to make your own personal library then start buying books that you will ACTUALLY LIKE or ones that you think that you might like.
Or just borrow them from the library and then decide if you like the book or not! I don't like it when people borrow a book from you and then they damage your book, uh hello, if you're going to be borrowing a book from someone, you might as well just do your best and try not to damage it and a lot of other things that I just said above. For me, I am NOT your personal library for borrowing books, and I never will be, ever. I'm sorry, but you're going to have to go somewhere else, a library, a store, or someone who does not mind you borrowing their book, damaging it and other things. If you are going to be a book from me, you better not damage it, take forever in reading it and also take forever in giving it back to me.
And if you do, I'm sorry, but you're going to be having to go somewhere else. Sorry, but again, I'm NOT your personal library, just go somewhere else and get your books there and not from me.
Anyways, if you've made it this far, I just want to thank you for reading this far and if you have any problems with lending out your books to other people, let me know in the comments! I'll write you next time!

Reading the actual book and then watching the movie or watching the movie and then reading the book?

Yes, I actually prefer reading the book and then watching the movie over watching the movie and then reading the book. But when you read the book, it has more detail then the movie does, when you're reading the book, you can imagine what a house looks like, what the characters look like, what pets look like basically anything in the book you can imagine yourself in your head. In the movie, it tells what the house, the characters, the pets, basically anything that is in the movie will tell you what they look like instead of imagining it in your head. I think that if you watch the movie before you read the book, it takes all of the fun out of imagining it all inside your head for when you read the book. I mean, yes, some people prefer watching the movie and the reading the book, but it's just not as fun for when you first read the book and you can just imagine just so many things in the book.
And when you see the movie for a book, some of the book scenes get cut out of the movie. Say you're reading Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince or any Harry Potter book or just basically any book in general, you really like a part in the book and then when you're done with it, you see the movie and the part that you liked WASN'T in the movie, that's what I mean by parts in books by not being in the movie. If books are being made into movies, then the whole book cannot be in the movie, only because it would be more than two hours and I think that everyone would probably be complaining that they're going to be in the theater for more than two hours. And also everyone's ass would really hurt from sitting for more than two hours and also not going to the bathroom, well, that's also another problem. I mean, when you're in the movie theater, you have to go to the bathroom, well, you don't really want to miss anything.
Anyways, movies over books? Not for me, books over movies, yes, I may have to do physical work with my eyes, but I really don't care, I actually like to read books, probably more than anyone else. I may not read books all the time and also every day, but at least I actually read physical books more than anyone that says that they prefer movies over books. I think that some people who watch movies from a book and say "movies over books", are a bit lazy only because they don't want to do any physical work when reading a book. To me, it's not really physical work to actually read a book, it's the story that keeps me going, to keep reading it, depending on what I'm reading as well. Maybe for the people who don't like reading, they just haven't found the right story for themselves yet. I think that for me, Harry Potter got me into reading because it was full of magic, friends, family, love and so many other things as well. Anyways, that's all for this month, so, I'll write you next time.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Review

The Fault in Our Stars is about a 16 - year - old girl who has cancer named Hazel. Her mother makes her go to a support group to make friends. She meets 17 - year - old Augustus Waters in this support group. And they make a friendship and then it turns in to a bit of a relationship. When Hazel was in the support group, she has also met this other guy named Isaac, they're just friends. (Lol, friend zoned! Hahaha, just kidding, they're just friends, honestly!) Augustus, Hazel and Hazel's mother go to Amsterdam to meet the writer Peter Van Houten, and talk about An Imperial Affliction. But it turns into a disaster. And they have been together through out the book with a guy named Isaac. I thought that this book was very well written and it is the very first John Green book. And I thought that this book was very true. But I've thought that with all the different kinds of cancers, every person out there has a different reaction to it, especially with medications and things. I've fallen in love with these characters and I've cried at a couple of parts. And I thought that it was a very good book and I've thought that people with cancer should just be treated normally as if they didn't have cancer.
I have loved these characters from the beginning and I had no idea what I was getting into when I was first reading the book and I have loved them since I've first read them in the book. I can somewhat relate to them because I have had family and a friend's mother have cancer and I can actually feel their pain of what could actually happen to the people that they love. And well, my family died from cancer and I didn't know them, but at least I know about it. Anyways, this book made me feel a bit sorry for people who have cancer only because there could be a 50 - 50 chance that they could die or stay alive. In which I hope that every person that has cancer is actually a survivor. To be honest, I actually grow out my hair and give it to people with cancer and I've done it about three times or so and I will keep doing it until there is an actual cure for every kinds of cancer in the world.

Yes, they may have cancer but to me they should just be treated as if they didn't. So, those are all of my thoughts and things. And if you've made this far into reading this. Then, I thank you!

Waste of Time and Money for E-Readers... To Me At Least

I think that if you're reading books on an e-reader, it's a bit of a waste of your time and also money. Only because there are so many things that you actually do with a physical book instead of an reader. I mean, really, why don't you just get the physical book, yes, it maybe be a little heavier than an e-reader, but at least you'll actually have the physical book, whether it be hard back or paper back. And I mean physical books: 1.They do not need to be charged. 2. It's hours and hours of entertainment. 3. It may get banged up somehow, but you'll remember all of how you really banged the physical book up. 4. There is also a glare on the e-reader, there isn't one on the book, unless it's on the cover or you're somehow looking into the sun while reading. There are just so many reasons as to why it's just a waste of time to get an e-reader and get books, it may be cheaper to get books on it, but to me it's more worth it to have the physical books instead of having it on an e-reader. To me, I think that books are always one of the ways that we can get to magic and they're one of the portals that we can have to get though to magic. They can take us on an adventure that no one else and nothing else can and I'm just really thankful that all of the writers that wrote all of the books that are in this world have actually written the books that they actually had written. I may not be a fast reader, but at least I have read books that really made me happy and also other emotions that nothing else can actually make me feel in the world.
And yes, it may be expensive to buy a physical book, whether it be hard cover or paper back, but it's still pretty worth it to actually have in your possession. When you have an e-reader, you can't actually feel the book that you're reading, when you have the physical book, you can feel the pages that it holds, the front and back covers, smell the pages in the book. With an e-reader, you can't do any of those things. And I mean, yes, e - readers get you to read but that's not even worth it because  they're not the actual physical book that you can actually hold, smell, feel and just so many other things. And yes, it is cheaper to get a book on an e - reader, but is it really worth it to have it as a physical book in your real life possession or on an e - reader? To me, the physical book will always be worth it because you can really hold the book, smell it, feel its intensity of it being a massive book or even a small book. And it does and it doesn't matter in some ways of a physical book being big or small, to me at least. For series, trilogies, duos, etc, I like to have the books all the same heigh, matching and either in hard cover or even in paper back. Some other people may not like it, like I do the way that some of their books are not matching and the same height, but at least we all have the books in our possessions. To me, it's just not the same if you have a book on an e - reader as if you already had it in your possession. Anyways, thank you for reading this if you've made it this far. So, I'll be writing soon!!

Writing Books

"I'm an author. We don't want to lead. We don't need to follow. We stay home and make stuff up and write it down and send it out into the world, and get inside people's heads. Perhaps we change the world and perhaps we don't. We never know. We just make stuff up." -- Neil Gaiman

Being a writer can be so many things. You can make things up. You can be at home writing in your pajamas, or you could be at work and also be writing. You can be anywhere and still be writing. You can be basically anywhere in the whole world and write about anything. I've read once that you cannot just wait for inspiration, you just have to go at whatever you're writing with a club. You can't just wait for inspiration to come and hit you, you just really need to start writing and just keep going without stoping. All you have to really do is just write one word at a time and then before you actually know it, you're done with whatever you're writing. But there could also be moments where you just completely and totally have writers' block. You should at least be really be brave enough to actually show your writings to people and just ask them of what they really think about whatever you're writing. Writing can be made of anything, you can make anything by writing, by reading books, they can make you feel so many things. Sometimes, I just write in the dark with music playing and no one home, but if there are people here, then I just still write whether or not they're here and sometimes, just talk to them and write at the same time. I want to see writers writing everywhere and anywhere, just be brave in what you do, no matter what you're doing, so, just write a story and try having it published in any way shape or form. Just live your dream, and don't care what people think, just care about what you think and just write.

And if you're trying get your book published and you get rejected so many times, just know that there is always someone out there who will say yes. I mean look at J.K. Rowling, her story for Harry Potter got rejected so many times, but did she give up? NO, she didn't, she actually wrote something and someone out there actually said yes to her. Now, if she had given up, we wouldn't have Harry Potter, his friends and their adventures or even her other two books. Writing is hard, but it's also easy, all you really have to do is just write one word at a time, that's just basically it, one word at a time. Everything that needs to be written just has to take time and actual thought. And here I am writing about books and how to write them, even though I have no idea what to do when I'm also writing my stories and I mean this when I'm writing my stories. I just mean when I'm trying to write my stories I just have no idea what to write next. I mean other than one word at a time (haha, joke). Anyways, writing is just one the greatest things in the world, you can just write about anything. Unless it's really inappropriate, then don't write things like that. Anyways, to me, writing is just really great, only because you can get out what you really want to say whether or not you're actually writing about something like Harry Potter and things similar to that.

"After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing we need most in the world." -- Philip Pullman

I think that's pretty much right because stories are what we need in the world because if we didn't, then we wouldn't have the stories and things that we have now. I may not know a lot about writing, but at least that when you're at least trying to get out to get published you just have to work hard and actually know what you're writing and also what you're writing about. Writing stories is just really easy and really hard, only because sometimes, you may have writers block and other times, you may just be writing a lot and just write all the things that you want to write. It can be hard writing a story and also editing it, but no matter what you can still get something published. As I've been "taught" by the many writers out there by their quotes, I've somewhat learned some things that could actually help me in what I really want to do and just keep doing it every day, no matter what. And even though, I haven't really been writing every day, I still think that I should still do it. It is still my passion to be an actual writer, but I still struggle of thinking about how I want to word my stories that I am currently writing. We still need stories in our lives, they're still there and we can read them whenever we want. We can read them over and over again, as many times as we really want and it will still start and end the same. There can be so many things that can actually inspire us to write a story, but you can't just wait for inspiration to write, you just really go at it with club and just write what you want to write. Like I am right now with this blog and I'm sure that I am not the only one who wants to be a writer and also just read all day and just talk about books all day. There are just so many people who are book video bloggers and bloggers out there and there are also people who would love to be a writer like myself and just be that for the rest of their lives. But there's also the point where life isn't just about books, writing and just being there to actually vlog or blog about books and just other things.

But that's just another story for another day, talking and also writing about books is just a lot and it's just really exciting because you're actually happy about writing and also reading a book that could turn into basically anything. Even reading a book gets me excited only because it's a new world, there are new characters and basically everything is just new to you, if it's a book that you have never read. C.S. Lewis had once said that you can create anything by just writing, which is really true, you really have to just keep your mind wide open. Writing is just one of my favorite things to do because it also relaxes me and I also just need to think about what I want to write for my stories. There are just so many stories out there that can be written about and that also really want to be written, but they're not even written yet. Things like ideas for a story just come to you and when they do, just need to get your computer and paper and just start your idea or just a pad, some paper and a pen and just start writing it and at all costs, DO NOT STOP. Just keep going, no matter what the cost is, just keep going and DO NOT STOP. You just can't wait for inspiration, you just really go at it with a club, no matter what. Sometimes, people just don't know what they want to do with their life, but they can also just write it out about how they've lived a certain way or about how they did certain things and just so many things in life. But I'm actually glad that I found something that I can actually do and just be proud of it and I am also fond of it as well. I just love to write and even though that I may not write every single day, I'm still love to do it and love it in general. Writing is just one of the escapes that I can go to when I'm having a bad day or when I'm just really wanting to escape from whatever I'm actually really dealing with. And it's also the same with reading, like they're both an escape for me and they're both two different worlds that I love escaping to when I'm wanting to escape. I'll write you next time!

And even though that it may be hard to write and to actually come up with an idea to write about, it's still an escape for me and it can be an escape for everyone else who is wanting to be a writer. And just getting your story out there published is just one of the great things in the world, not that I've actually published an actual book or anything, but I just hope one day that I will. And I know that I will actually publish something, but for right now, I'm just going to be sticking to figuring out how my stories are going to be working out. Writing is one of the greatest things in life where you can just make up a story and as for writing for fiction as in fantasy or science fiction, it may be all a lie, but it's also a good lie. And for me, writing books is just something that I really want to do and I think that when I was about 14, I just thought about a story and that's what got me into writing. And I think that right then, I just knew that that was something that I really wanted to do. So, if you're wanting to be a writer, then just keep writing and just keep doing whatever you're doing with it. And just keep writing, do not wait for inspiration, just keep writing and just go at it with a club! JUST KEEP GOING AT IT WITH A CLUB!!!!! Anyways, KEEP WRITING!! And I'd also like to thank you if you're reading this.
