The Fault in Our Stars by John Green Review

The Fault in Our Stars is about a 16 - year - old girl who has cancer named Hazel. Her mother makes her go to a support group to make friends. She meets 17 - year - old Augustus Waters in this support group. And they make a friendship and then it turns in to a bit of a relationship. When Hazel was in the support group, she has also met this other guy named Isaac, they're just friends. (Lol, friend zoned! Hahaha, just kidding, they're just friends, honestly!) Augustus, Hazel and Hazel's mother go to Amsterdam to meet the writer Peter Van Houten, and talk about An Imperial Affliction. But it turns into a disaster. And they have been together through out the book with a guy named Isaac. I thought that this book was very well written and it is the very first John Green book. And I thought that this book was very true. But I've thought that with all the different kinds of cancers, every person out there has a different reaction to it, especially with medications and things. I've fallen in love with these characters and I've cried at a couple of parts. And I thought that it was a very good book and I've thought that people with cancer should just be treated normally as if they didn't have cancer.
I have loved these characters from the beginning and I had no idea what I was getting into when I was first reading the book and I have loved them since I've first read them in the book. I can somewhat relate to them because I have had family and a friend's mother have cancer and I can actually feel their pain of what could actually happen to the people that they love. And well, my family died from cancer and I didn't know them, but at least I know about it. Anyways, this book made me feel a bit sorry for people who have cancer only because there could be a 50 - 50 chance that they could die or stay alive. In which I hope that every person that has cancer is actually a survivor. To be honest, I actually grow out my hair and give it to people with cancer and I've done it about three times or so and I will keep doing it until there is an actual cure for every kinds of cancer in the world.

Yes, they may have cancer but to me they should just be treated as if they didn't. So, those are all of my thoughts and things. And if you've made this far into reading this. Then, I thank you!
